May 2012As Sector Manager I will be coordinating the effort and business practices of a group of commercial fishing vessels. Northeast Fishery Sector Inc. 3 (NEFS 3) is a non-profit organization comprised of individual Federal limited access groundfish permits in the Northeast. NEFS 3 is comprised of fishermen using gillnets, hooks and hand gear. NEFS 3 members harvest a variety of regulated stocks primarily out of the Gulf of Maine, but also fish in George's Bank and Southern New England. Our vessels predominantly land in the port of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
